Terms of Service
Last updated: 1 June 2026
Agreement to terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of EnterLedger websites, applications, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself or the organisation you represent.
If you do not agree, you must not use the Service. Where you use the Service on behalf of a business or firm, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation.
Use of the platform
EnterLedger provides accounting and finance workflow tools for UK businesses and accounting firms. You agree to use the Service only for lawful business purposes and in accordance with applicable UK laws and regulations.
You are responsible for the accuracy of information entered into the platform and for how your organisation uses financial records, reports, and outputs generated through the Service.
Accounts and access
You must provide accurate account information and keep login credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity conducted under your account unless you promptly notify us of unauthorised access.
We may suspend or restrict access where we reasonably believe an account has been compromised, misused, or used in breach of these Terms.
Subscriptions, trials, and billing
Paid plans, free trials, and billing terms are described on our pricing page, at checkout, or in a separate order form or agreement. Fees, renewal terms, and applicable taxes will be presented before you commit to a paid subscription unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew according to the billing cycle selected. You are responsible for keeping billing details current and for charges incurred under your account.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service in a way that violates law or third-party rights.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems, accounts, or data.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
- Upload malicious code or use the platform to send spam or harmful content.
- Reverse engineer or misuse the Service except where permitted by law.
Customer data
You retain ownership of data you submit to the Service. You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and use that data solely to provide, secure, and improve the Service and as otherwise described in our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for ensuring you have appropriate rights and permissions to upload and process data within the platform, including data relating to your clients, employees, or suppliers where applicable.
Service availability
We aim to provide a reliable platform, but the Service may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or factors outside our reasonable control. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Features may change over time as we improve EnterLedger. Where reasonably practicable, we will communicate material changes that affect how customers use the platform.
Intellectual property
The Service, including software, branding, design, and documentation, is owned by or licensed to EnterLedger and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you ownership of the Service or its underlying technology.
Third-party services
The Service may integrate with or link to third-party tools, such as banking feeds, payment providers, or identity services. Your use of third-party services may be subject to separate terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for third-party products or websites.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, EnterLedger will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities arising from use of the Service.
Our total liability for claims relating to the Service will be limited to the amount paid by you for the Service in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, except where liability cannot be limited under applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under UK law.
Changes to the service
We may update, modify, or discontinue parts of the Service from time to time. If a change materially reduces core functionality of a paid subscription, we will use reasonable efforts to provide notice in advance where appropriate.
Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay applicable fees, or where required for security or legal reasons.
Upon termination, your right to access the Service ends. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

Updates to these terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we make material updates, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, unless otherwise required by law.
These Terms provide general platform terms for website and service use. They are not legal advice and should be reviewed by qualified advisers before being relied upon for contractual or compliance purposes.
